Fred Rosenfelt, M.D.

Fred P. Rosenfelt is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Cornell University and an honor graduate of the Yale School of Medicine. He completed his internship, medical residency and oncology training at the Stanford University Medical Center. He is an active member of the attending staff at the Cedars Sinai Medical Center and has been a past Clinical Chief of the Oncology Division as well as past Chairman of the Cancer Committee at that institution. He is a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine (UCLA).

At Stanford, Dr Rosenfelt participated in several research programs publishing scientific papers in lymphomas, lung cancer and prostate cancer. He is active in clinical trials for these tumor types through the Tower Cancer Research Foundation of which he is the Vice President of Scientific Affairs. He is a founding member of the Lymphoma Research Foundation and a co-founder of the Southern California Lymphoma Group. As such, he is a recognized expert in the treatment of both Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas. Dr Rosenfelt is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, member of the Southern California Association of Oncologists, the American Society of Clinical Oncologists and the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr Rosenfelt and his wife Nancy, the director of the Summitview Schools for children with learning disorders, have two grown daughters and two grandchildren.
